paradoxphenomena responds:

Hey Zero always glad to hear from a fellow composer. Sadly I didn't make this with the thought of entering it into mac9. Thanks for the review, I enjoyed both your pieces for Mac9. They have great potential specially your latest one 'Love, As I Know It'. Keep up the great work, and Good Luck on Mac9

ooh, i see

you are branching off you 2 ;)

I thought you'd never leave piano! xD
oj

very nice song, a joy to listen to.

Maybe have different velocities for the percussion (mainly the timpani me thinks)
around 1/3 through. Or maybe a volume envelope.

Lastly, woah - surely this can't be FL studio!? it's way too pro, you got some VST's or something?

anyways, very nice
>>Zero

Tamadrum responds:

Thanks Zero!

as far as the percussion goes, I can't really find the place where you are referencing. :(

This is actually all FL studio demo work, all the sounds are free soundfonts found on different websites...

And for piano, blaze will never leave it. if you listen close enough, maybe you can hear some. :P

Thanks again Zero.

wow

this song is too awesome for a big review.

gamerworld14 responds:

;D

thanks...lol

my fav.

it never gets old - and I luv it

well

what can I say?
it's exotic, and drums!?

nice work - amazing samples here, and I would love these D';

Well - I love the-

main tune - the evilness of it all, and the way the sections move into eachother
only critisism is that you should use FL demo - or some different VST's for the piano because it just.. well I dunno.. seems obvious that you didn't play this;
and you always want to try and make that illusion.

Pros;
The tune, as I said is very imaginative and creative.
The end is perfect
and loops well xD

well done- what program do you use btw?
cause I used to use sibelius 3 ^^ which wasn't the best for piano :)

>>Zero
keep up the great work!!

Dude09 responds:

thank you, i know there is no way i could play this, i do use sibelius, which i use to gain composing technique, but i'm still discussing a deal with a recording studio. thanks for the review :)

I love these mac9 submissions!!

lol - I was surprised you were advertising in the forum thread, but it deserves more recognition.

Of course lots of bits i lol'd - and it decided to become all orchestral around 2:30 and I seemed to get lost xD

The guitars were amazing - great work;
wierd lyrics though^^

(Please if you could listen to my "Is This True Love?" that would be grand ^^

sorohanro responds:

Thanx for review and good score.
I'll check your track one of these days ;)

Nice and progressive

about 1:12 i think was a really nice change ^^

Reminds me of the classics - but the slap bass (i think) was really nice and perfect for this song.

Don't stop making those bits are at 1:12 - and how you do them, it is a unique style and if you were to ever lose it.. well - I may stop reviewing xD

But still
really nice song
deserves a 5 for the work you have put in, btw - where did you get that tamb.?

>>Zero

blackattackbitch responds:

Thanks man, you really like that part around 1:12? I didn't even think much of it lol, I was just in the zone.

And the bassline idea came to me at random, but I figured that it would be perfect for a jazzy/r&b type of song. I'm not sure what it is though, it's a setting I made in fl slayer lol.

And the tamb came from the Kore 2 sample content. Since Kore 2 is unusable by both of my computers, I just use the samples. They have really good drum samples though.

And never stop reviewing! Reviewing not only improves the reviewee's style, it also improves your own!

Thanks for the review tho man, I know exactly what to keep in the song and what to change thanks to you and sessile!

Nice

Extremely nice;
love it in the collab - though things are moving slowly :p

mjattie responds:

ah doesn't matter, thanks :)

well.. erm

I can't really compare to the guy's below review xP

but I thought this piece was destined to become great ever since I heard the demo for the collab

well done - and never stop composing
>>Zero

Tamadrum responds:

Wow, Thanks a million zero... even if your review isn't 50 million words long like tyler's.

Never stop composing yourself! :)

Mainly do piano music and classical :) PM any questions and anything regarding music for games/flashes.
