one word...

...crap.

haha, sorry, I'm only joking - just with the 9.9 average you have I thought you wouldn't expect anyone to say that^^

awesome song, blah blah,

Lool! ok, fine. your "Silent Tears" song is better than mine, and mine is my most popular song :'(

Why I thought I'd review such a popular song? when normally there is no chance they will even read it?

Cause you responded to quite a few of the reviews, so well done :)
>>Zero

oh, yeah great song!

Dj-Flux responds:

I respond to every review I get. :]

I'm glad you enjoyed the song and took the time to review. =P

Yees!!!!

Really enjoyed it :D

amazin, lots of variety and was that east west QL orchestra tam-tams I'm hearing? xD

anyways awesome song
and, erm same thing helth said^^

hmmm, yeah this deserves a fav ;)

Benesh responds:

Thanks !
And your right, thats the east west orchestra gold (now ive got the platinum editon) :D

Woah, how'd you get such a nice sound!

nice choirs, and great harp- i really need a good one^^

anyways beautifully orchestrated piece, the guitars weren't the most realistic sounding and the drums were well done, the tune felt a teeny tiny bit cluttered, but I can't blame you for that. did you have different velocities on the drums?

Really nice once I get into it^^ not really a fan of the constant cymbals near the end,

But I think this song is beautiful and dark, the points above are the ONLY things i tried my hardest to find and criticise,

[Just my thoughts about MillsApparatus, but do you ever see a zero bomber actually review the song?]

Well done
5/5 (obv cause of guy below)
9/10 (cause of small things)

anthonyragus responds:

Thanks for the review. I use Dark Abbey reverb for all of my pieces, which gives instruments a "wider" sound than the standard EastWest Hall reverb. To tell you the truth I regret using a drum kit for some parts of the piece. Certain parts just sound much nicer without it. Also, I kept having to tweak the velocity and volume of the rides and cymbals, which added to the "chaotic" feel. Anyway, thanks again for the criticism.

I agree with Chronamut (sadly)

because of lack of a better word, I will have to say:

This is unfair. You're what, 30? (though you were probs in your 20's when writing this) and you have a studio and obviously quite a bit of money for your samples and hardware.
This is unfair on the people starting out, you come here- obviously professional and by the looks and sounds of things you make a decent living out of music.

For example;
I'm 13 years old, I have been working as much as I can over the last year with school and exams - I started out with a Piano and i am now upgrading to semi-realistic orchestral music, by making music for games etc.

my point is, that your music is good, but too good. I don't think Newgrounds Audio is really the place for you.
Though if you reply to PMs and help others hoping to be as good as you, I suppose newgrounds audio would love to have a professional amongst us.

*sorry if I seem a bit angry xD (i'm not^^)

nathanallenpinard responds:

Big suprise for you here. I don't make a living off music? Why? Because I live in Portland, OR, and there is no real film/game music business here.

In able to "make it" I would 1. Have to move to LA or 2. Get lucky and get hired by an indie gaming company.

I've sent out emails offering work, but trust me, most gaming companies sometimes are looking for actual work on a resume, even if it's a small freeware project. No matter your talent, they want to see that you can, and will do the work, and not screw around. A resume to show this.

Hench...why I came to newgrounds. I need experience in the gaming industry, even if it's a small flash game.

Yes, different and..

fresh- great audio quality and well written piece, nice work and glad you are branching out :)

>>Zero123Music

Boux responds:

yeah i am branching out, for this one at least, ill try and do more with no effects, thanks again!

Well, yeah

teh guy underneath kinda sums it up:

Awsum.

So catchy, chords were really nice (i love those chords)
the vocals were really well done, nice robot voice xD

sorry for not much critism but this song is so awesome, oh god as I'm writing it's getting better and better. My only criticism is at 3:26 maybe moar reverb.

Apart from that this song is so good I can't really find anything wrong with it.

nice one, fav'd

DarqueHand responds:

Not to be harsh but... people think this is a useless review... nuf said?

It's one of the best sound libraries in the world!!! East West Quantum Leap lol!

It may sound shit for the simple reason that I am not good at mixing or mastering or anything like that really.

Very captivating

I listened all the way through, nice rhythm and everything man!
Great and creative chords, sounded like a few slip-ups (small tiny ones xD)

I could imagine this in some kind of Medieval restaurant or bar kinda thing, very thought provoking and a good fade ending :)

awesome work here!
