I'm gonna take a look at DJKarma, and how do you get such a nice sounding piano sound, I record my stuff, and it still doesn't sound as good as this , how??

BlazingDragon responds:

I use a computer mouse, demo of FL Studio, and MIS Stereo Piano that I found on blackhole12's profile (In one of his news posts). I just load the piano into FL, add a tad bit of reverb, and work away. I like to go back and tweak the volume of each note a little, just to make it feel more human.

A good, free piece of software, and some time and effort to humanize things with dynamics. With this one, I also used FL's automation capabilities to change the tempo gradually. You'll notice if you listen to the beginning.

You can find that piano if you look around www.blackhole12.newgrounds.com/ in his newsposts. It isn't a soundfont (it is a direct wave file) but it should still load into FL. It's around 170 MB to download I believe, so it may take a long time if you have a really slow connection.

I hope that is helpful! :D

Gaaaaaahhhh!!!

Go away darknessdweller!!!! (He is rating bad on all songs - Down-rating scum)

Grrrr...

very good, just cos darknessdweller is a depressing freak and doesn't like happy, doesn't mean a bad review - grrr... he is one of the down-rater scum.

Very happy, very enjoyable - Nice work man.

Kimken responds:

I agree, a score like "1" should be for a cover music for a cover of a cover of a cover of a cover of a cover of Moonlight Shadow.

Thanks :). For one, I made a happy tune for all the fans. A little bit short and rushed, but I can't find much time to create when I'm at work all the time.

Anyway.. I wonder what comes next?

Flawless

Like the other reviewer said, nothing wrong.

Another Masterpiece

I found this piece in all time best, and rightly where it belongs.

BlazingDragon responds:

What? Hold on a minute....WOAH! Top 10! Good Gravy, man, that was completely unexpected!!! :O

That was incredible unexpected. I'm simple amazed. O_O
Thanks for the review!

OMGA

I've only played GS 1, Jenna turns on you :OMG

Very good anyways. Don't worry I ain't a mindless down-rater.

Very Good

I can't wait for the full thing, but I wonder why is this on your brothers account?

magnificat12 responds:

[This is BlazingDragon]

I don't like putting demos or really short loops on my account unless I think they are really good. So, I decided to put it on this account. All my old, short, or cruddy stuff is pretty much going on here. xD I don't want to fill my account with a billion 30 second loops, and my brother doesn't mind if I put music on here. So that's the story.

Thanks for the review! :D

I feel bad for not writing a big review..

But in your Pieces there is not much to criticize.

This Piece sounded very much like something from Final Fantasy 7 especially at 37 seconds in, I liked the intro very much.

Nice work - Keep the intro :-)

BlazingDragon responds:

It is an honor to be compared to FFVII! But I can't tell any similarity. >_>

Nobuo Uematsu is pretty much incredible. I've looked up to him for years. One of the more recent games he did, which is called Blue Dragon, has some great songs. Waterside is an awesome track on there. :)

Thanks for the review, my friend!

erm

A bit repetitive but a good tune nonetheless

I Love your Work

How did you make this, I love the key it was in and how it changed.
At 00:30 I loved the change and it fitted perfectly the light strings sounded truly gorgeous.

-.:.Zero.:.-

BlazingDragon responds:

Thank you very much, I'm glad you liked it! :D

I made this in a program called FL Studio with a mouse and plenty of inspiration. I would record my music, but my piano skills aren't very good (Yours are probably much better) and I don't have a decent piano or mic. Seriously, my ears nearly bleed everytime I play our piano. It is obscenely old and out of tune. Multiple notes don't come back up after you press them, and will even play the adjacent note sometimes as well. When I play an octave, the two notes hardly resemble each other. I just about cry every time I play the poor thing. So I stick to using a mouse, computer, and free software. xD

Thanks again for the review!
